PandaLabs, the research arm at Panda Security, has been looking at advertising scams via Android apps. Now it has discovered a complex scam already taking advantage of the publicity surrounding Facebook's acquisition of WhatsApp. In short, advertisements placed on Facebook offer Android apps that add value or services to WhatsApp users.
