Snowden to Testify Before European Parliament's LIBE Committee

The question over whether direct testimony from US whistleblower Edward Snowden will be heard by the European Parliament (EP) has finally been settled. On Monday the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee (LIBE) voted to accept testimony in relation to the parliament's inquiry into mass surveillance.
