About Blueberry (blueberrypediatrics.com): We provide convenient, 24/7 medical care for children over the internet. We are a team of ex-Googlers and doctors, currently partnering with pediatric clinics to provide our software and care for thousands of children.

About the role

The role: This is a 2-4 month contract gig for an experienced business development or sales professional looking to jump into a fast paced telemedicine startup. We are looking for someone who can join immediately and hit the ground running. Exact contract duration and compensation are negotiable.

You will be doing business development and outbound sales, setting up deals with other healthcare industry players including benefits providers, health plans, hospital systems, and other telemedicine companies.

The mission: The next generation of healthcare will be online-first. Getting care online whenever possible reduces the spread of contagious diseases like covid-19 and lowers overall healthcare costs by drastically improving doctor & nurse efficiency and removing the overhead of transportation & offices.

The company: Blueberry Pediatrics makes it possible for parents to get convenient, affordable and high-quality medical care for their children through telehealth. We are a team of ex-Googlers and doctors who have built a modern, scalable, pediatric-focused telehealth solution that is helping thousands of sick children every day. We are backed by Y Combinator and major institutional investors like Vulcan Capital.

The ideal candidate:

• Is proactive and independent
• Has outstanding communication skills
• Has experience researching and identifying leads, developing an outbound sales process and developing warm and cold leads
• Has 3+ years of related experience
• Has experience with health plans, hospital systems, or employer benefits providers

Technology

We operate a fully secure and HIPAA-compliant tech stack through our desktop & mobile websites and Android & iOS apps.

Our backend tech stack: Google App Engine, Google Cloud Storage, Django, Cloud mySQL

Frontend: React Native for iOS & Android, Django Templates with Less CSS & jQuery, Node.
