This week at the VMware Partner Exchange (PEX) in San Francisco, six new partners announced their support of the vCloud Air platform, while an existing ISV partner certified an additional solution for their vCloud Air-certified portfolio. These ISVs have joined the vCloud Air ISV Partner Program and achieved VMware Ready – vCloud Air certification. As a result, you can have confidence that certified applications work seamlessly in vCloud Air, and can be deployed into production with peace of mind.

Solutions from these new vendors are now listed in the vCloud Air Marketplace, adding to the collection of well-known security, manageability and automation solutions that already support vCloud Air.

  • Kaspersky Labhas brought its flagship security platform, Kaspersky Antivirus for Windows Serversto vCloud Air, so customers can use the same familiar security suite in the data center and in the hybrid cloud.

  • Existing ISV partner F5 Networkshas certified the Big-IP Application Security Manager on vCloud Air, enabling customers to quickly mitigate vulnerabilities and stop sophisticated cyber attacks before they reach workloads in either the data center or in vCloud Air.

Additionally, VMware continues to build out its ecosystem of vCloud Air DevOps solutions as enterprise organizations increasingly turn to vCloud Air for their dev/ test environments.

  • Cloudify from GigaSpaces Technologies, a leading supplier of TOSCA-based cloud orchestration and management technologies, now runs on vCloud Air, providing a common management and orchestration experience across the portfolio of industry-leading VMware cloud solutions.

  • Nirmata, a leader in multi-cloud, application management, announced that its Nirmata.io DevOps platformis now available on vCloud Air, enabling enterprise DevOps teams to fully automate cloud application deployment and management while retaining full control and visibility of their infrastructure.

  • Espresso Logicannounced that its REST API Creation Platform now runs on vCloud Air, enabling developers to quickly create policy-driven, secure REST APIs to their data (SQL, NoSQL and Enterprise Apps) whether in the cloud or behind the firewall.

  • With the Cloud Application Delivery Platform (CADP) from Avi Networks, enterprises gain a single point of management and a common, consistent application delivery environment across all their applications in every on-premise data center and public cloud location, enabling them to move to the cloud without loss in visibility or control of their infrastructure and applications.

Customers who are interested in these solutions or other solutions certified on vCloud Air can visit the vCloud Air Marketplace to sign up for a trial or learn how to move an existing software license to the hybrid cloud.

As VMware continues to grow its vCloud Air ecosystem, you will find the solutions you use today in the data center, available to run in the hybrid cloud, plus new solutions that make managing a hybrid environment simpler and more cost-effective.
