What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Player feedback is crucial for puzzle games. Each level starts with an idea I want the player to realize on their own, but it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out how to get the difficulty of each level right.

As for the sandbox part of the game, I also want to experiment with what set of tools lets players get most creative.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current timeframe would roughly be 6 months to a year... theoretically”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to add more tools that allow players to be creative, like components that receive bytes from the internet or read from a file on your computer. I also plan to have a way to share creative things with the community.
Besides creative tools, I hope to add custom levels.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is definitely playable, with 70+ levels and 50+ hours of play (except of course if you are already very familiar with the subjects).”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As the game matures I expect to increase the price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am actively reading discord and our own forum. To me, player feedback is crucial as you need different perspectives to find the best path. Besides, without input it is too easy to be blind to certain issues in something that you work on every day.” Read more

About This Game

In this challenging puzzle game, you build a computer from scratch and program it. It is a journey through the layers of abstractions of the computer. The game begins when you are abducted by aliens who are testing your intelligence, and from here a lighthearted sci-fi plot evolves.

This is a hard game, but computer knowledge is not a prerequisite. The best moments in the game is when the solution to a puzzle makes you realize the deep nature of something you took for granted.
