VMware Workstation is prone to an local arbitrary code-execution vulnerability because it fails to sanitize user-supplied input.
A local attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the user running the affected application.
VMware Workstation versions 15.x are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
