Chapters legally form for one of three reasons: 1. To open a bank account to accept and process monies. A bank may require legal formation. Individual banks and countries requirements differ, for what is required to open a chapter bank account. 2. To contract as a legal entity: For instance, to contract with CSA to allow the chapter to bring in Its own CCSK certified (by CSA) trainer. 3. To gain creditability with partners, sponsors and members.
