Now California state wants to ban sale of encrypted smartphones

The bill, similar to a New York draft law, would prevent companies like Apple from selling its encryption-enabled iPhone in its actual backyard.

  1. I am just curious why they need this! Does it really help for something? I thing the governance doesn't like to be out of people's personal data. What would they do with the best data rooms?
