With the world reeling from accusations of domestic and global spying by the US government, including against its allies, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) and Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wisc.), have introduced legislation meant to block the NSA and other intelligence groups from the bulk collection of phone and internet records.
